This map traces documented relationships — funding, employment, board
membership, family and social ties — between people and institutions
across a specific historical and contemporary thread, from early-20th-century
eugenics organizations through today's global-health and pandemic-preparedness
network. Every connection is drawn from a cited source, shown in each node's
own info panel.
How to read it
Hover a node to preview its direct connections and, where available, a short explanation.
Click a node to lock that focus in place and open a selectable info
panel with a Copy button; click it again, click the ×, or click empty
space to release.
Drag a node to reposition it — it stays put until you double-click
it to release it back to the simulation.
Search finds and zooms to any name. "Show ALL labels" reveals every
node's name at once; the default shows high-connection nodes only as you zoom
in. Nothing is ever hidden from the underlying data — only what's labeled by
default, and that's adjustable from the controls bar.
